This camp is for middle-school students who want to learn all about making movies, from developing a script to editing the final product. Participants will team together as writers, actors, and production crew and in five days will produce a high-quality DVD movie. They’ll learn about lights and sound and work with a variety of cameras. The camp will conclude with a public showing of the final product for friends and family. Mr. Middlesworth, who leads camp, is not only the drama director at STM, but a graduate of UNC’s School of Media and Journalism.
This camp is open to rising 6th-8th grade students and it runs from 9:00 am to noon in the Lower School Hall. There will be a limit of ten participants.
